In the market you can buy and sell reosources. You can only sell reosorces to get gold, but you can buy any reosorce with gold.

You can be a market player by buying resources when they are at a low cost then sell them when their higher.Most market players put all their workers on pumping oil and then just buy all the resources they need.

If you don't want to be a market player you can just put your workes on all resources and use the market when you need [[resources]].
