From Universe Wars
Mail is the "Private Messaging" service in Uwars. By entering in a players ID, or clicking the mail button on their empire page, you can type in a message and send it, much like an email. There's no waiting time between when you send a mail and when your target receives it, making holding a private conversation in mails very easy.
In the drop-down menu when you mouse over the Mail button you will see:
- Inbox - This is where all of your received mail goes, this is also what page you will see by just clicking the Mail button.
- Compose - This is for creating a new mail to a player, for this you will need to know there ID located on there Empire Page, but on there Empire Page is also a large Send Mail button which you can click to compose a new mail and the system automatically inserts there ID.
- Junk Mail - This section is where all of your mail from your Blocked List goes.
- Deleted Items - This is where all of your deleted mail goes once you delete it, just in case you didn't want to delete a piece of mail you can retrieve it from here.
- Sent Items - This is where all of your Sent Mail will go, so you can see what you have sent people and what you wrote.
- Blocked List - You can add players to your Blocked List so you will not receive any mail from them in your inbox. If someone is harassing you, you can then simply put there ID into your list and your problems are whisked away.
